Billie Jean Glass, age 92, of Lexington, KY, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born in Corbin, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Mullins and Beatrice Parrott Mullins.
Billie was very passionate and talented at creating and teaching wool rug hooking. She also loved collecting Indian baskets. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her companion, Richard Featherston; two children, Cherrie Lee Willhoite of The Village, FL, and James H. Turner of Stamping Ground, KY; granddaughter, Seanna Paul-Hus of Wellington, FL; grandsons, James Ryan Turner and Forrest Turner of Lexington, KY; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emmalee Teagan, Tiberius, Legion, Gideon, Gabriel Natalie, Chase, and Hunter; and by a numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service was held at 12 noon on Thursday, February 15, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, KY, with Rev. Forrest Turner officiating.
