Rev. Carl “Skipper” Lee, 76 of Williamsburg, passed away Friday October 12, 2018 at his home.

He was born September 13, 1942 in Whitley County, to the late George Tory and Mattie Easter Lawson Lee.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Casey Bryan Lee; a sister, Georgia Lee; seven brothers, Fred, Benny Arnold, Walter, H.J., L.N., Herman Dewey and Charlie Lee.

Skipper was a Kentucky Colonel and a Baptist minister for 47 years.

He is survived by his wife Doris M. Lee of Williamsburg; two daughters; Kelly Sullivan (John) of Williamsburg, Jennie Martin of Williamsburg; nine grandchildren; Chad Middleton (Amanda), Hunter Martin, Alex Martin, Anna Martin, Triston Martin, Jonah Martin, Jasper Martin, Vincent Sullivan and J.T. Sullivan; five great grandchildren; Olivia, Abby, Taya, Addison and Colton; three brothers; Rondal Lee of Toledo, OH, Homer Lee of Maryville, TN, George Lee Jr. of Corbin; special friend who he loved as a brother, Buster Teague of Emlyn; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, October 16, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Brock and Rev. Waylon Hunter officiating.

Interment was in the Goins Cemetery on Harps Creek.
