Carl Wilder Sr.

Carl Wilder Sr., age 96, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born December 30, 1927 in Knox County, KY, to the late Robert Joseph and Lorina Rosena Zimmerman Wilder.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Wilder; and a son, Carl Wilder Jr.
He is survived by three children, Joe Wilder (Gayle) of Williamsburg, KY, Karen Noe (Vince) of Williamsburg, KY, and Vivian Hill (Larry) of Williamsburg, KY; six grandchildren, Crystal Dotson, Bill Wilder (Jessica), Jennifer Chandler (David), Julie Noe, Rebecca Lawson (Pride), Lori Hill (Lowell); seven great-grandchildren, Dalton, Emma, Gracie, Chase, Alex, Connor, and Cameron; one great-great-grandchild, Eli; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, September 14, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Huddleston and Rev. Bill Wilder officiating.
Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
