A woman was arrested after she assaulted her father in Laurel County.
Kendra B. Carver, 27, of Bronston, was arrested on fourth degree assault charges July 14th.
Donnie Carver, the Kendra’s father, told police Kendra, “was trying to get in her vehicle and that she was intoxicated,” according to the arrest citation.
“[Donnie] told her that she couldn’t leave and then the above listed female [Kendra] attacked him,” wrote Deputy Taylor McDaniel, of the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department, in the arrest citation.
Donnie received minor scraps and red marks from the incident.
Kendra was held in the Laurel County Detention Center on a $2,500 cash bond.
She was released on bond on July 16 around 12:30 p.m.
Kendra is expected to appear in Laurel District Court on July 31 at 9:30 a.m.
