John “Buddy” R. Woods, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Laurel County, KY, Buddy was the son of the late Jesse Woods and Allie Lee. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Jane Woods. Buddy and his wife, Rhoda, had owned and operated the Corbin Flower Shop together since January, 1960. Rhonda Gail Rountree Cox, age 58, departed this life on February 14, 2020 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. She was born on March 28, 1961 to Henry and Wanda Rountree. Patsy Lee Good, 87, passed away at her residence in Woodbine on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, Patsy was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary Belle Thompson Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Olen “Pete” Good, Sr.; son, Gary Neil Good; brothers, Robert Hall and David Hall; and sister, Carol Hall. Patsy was Baptist by faith. Ruth Marie Paul, 84, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 18, 1935 in Erwin, NC, to the late Steiner James and Claire Boyette Huffine. Dorothy “Dot” Etwoile Berry, age 94, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2020 at her home. She was born in Jackson, Georgia to the late Hugh Coleman and Elizabeth Jones Coleman. Dorothy was retired office manager with Commonwealth Insurance Co. in Corbin, a member of Central Baptist Church, and a Kentucky Colonel.
