Charles F. Robinson, of Louisville, was born in Ewing, VA, August 10, 1924. He departed this life February 9, 2017, living to be 92 years, 5 months, and 29 days of age. He was a veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler and Mossie Robinson; siblings: James, Clarence, Samuel, Troy Lee, Geraldine, and Sarah. Survivors include his loving wife of many years, Jewell Robinson; nieces: Robin and Carol Ann; nephews: Charles and James; a great-nephew, Charles; a cousin Orville Chadwell and other family members and many friends, who mourn his passing. R. Don Adkins, 81, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday February 13, 2017 at his home. He was born April 24, 1935 in Whitley County, to the late Roscoe J. Adkins and the late Bessie Bunch Adkins. Don was a member of First Baptist Church and served on the Board of Directors at Community Trust Bank. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Sandra Adkins. Dolores Brown Mackey, 77, of Corbin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2017. She was born on February 14, 1939, in Middlesboro, to the late Cecil Brown and Ethel Bowlin Brown. She was a graduate of Union College. In the early years, she taught school in the Wells Community in rural Knox County in a one-room building. She was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Corbin and was the gold standard of Proverbs 31:10-31 in caring for her family.
