Wilma McKeehan Faulkner, age 93, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home with her family by her side. Many of us will remember Wilma as determined and busy. If she set her mind to something the world had better get out of her way. Whether it be golf, tennis, gardening, or cooking she gave it her best. John Jones, age 54, of Lexington, KY, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at his home. He was born November 9, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH to the late R. C. and Yvonne Cox Jones. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Jones. John served as a medic in the U.S. Army. During his time in the U.S. Army, he served two tours in Iraq. Along with her mother she was preceded in death by her great-grandparents who raised her, Bertha and Finley Partin; two half-brothers, Francis France, and Harold France; grandparents, Alvis and Fay Bennet Partin. He was born on December 21, 1948, to the late Randle Parrott and Vivian June (Thomas) Parrott in Jellico. Robert was a graduate of Jellico High School – Class of 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served in Vietnam and a member of 101st Airborne - The Screaming Eagles. Weart “Mickey” McCracken Jr., age 91, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, in Corbin. He would have celebrated his 92nd birthday on July 20, 2024. Born in Corbin, he was a son of the late Weart McCracken Sr., and Pauline Ford McCracken. Mickey was the longtime owner-operator of McCracken Maintenance and he was a member of East Side Church of God in Corbin.
