Rod Neil Carter, Sr., 73, of Woodbine, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born August 9, 1946, he was the son of the late Austin and Corinne Carter. Rod was a member of Woodbine Baptist Church. A mechanic, he also had a deep interest in old cars and even collected them. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Carter; son, Todd Carter; and brother, Gary Carter. Oshia Stivers Taylor, 84, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her home. Her husband, Hershel W. Taylor, passed away March 1st of this year. David Tilmon Bargo, Sr., 53, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Robin Parsley Bargo. Mary Elizabeth Dunn went to heaven on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Hugh Everett Dunn; her mother, Reina Heath Johnson; her father, Ray Johnson; her sister, Geraldine Wyatt; and her brother, Ben Johnson. He was born November 8, 1938, in Williamsburg, KY, to the late Elbert and Georgia Cox. George was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam Conflict. Robert “Bob” Gene Taylor, 75, of Corbin, departed this life Saturday, December 14, 2019, peacefully at his home.  Born February 16, 1944, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Alex and Jettie (Steele) Taylor.  Bob’s early years were spent in Black Star Coal Mining Camp in Harlan County, Kentucky. Bob worked many years in the coal mining business in southeast Kentucky.
