Carl Terry Akins, 69, of Falls Creek Road, Corbin,  departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, August 10, at Croley Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Whorton and Rev. Luke Day officiating. Following graveside services at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 11,  he will be laid to rest in the Akins Family Cemetery on Bee Creek in Corbin. Onedda Eaton, 84, formerly of Corbin,  and the widow of Foster A. Eaton, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at Baptist Health in Louisville. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held  at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. James Hodge officiating. Peggy Logan Brown, 81, of Jellico, TN passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at her home. The funeral was held Saturday, August 06,  in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Powers officiating. Della Mae Taylor,  57, of Haines City, FL. passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Good Sheppard Hospice in Haines City, FL.
