Licensing ATVs for street use set to begin Friday, but vehicles not being allowed on most Whitley County roads yet

Starting Friday (June 27), you can start licensing your all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) and other special purpose vehicles in the Whitley County Clerk’s Office, which is in the old courthouse in Williamsburg. This will make those vehicles street-legal to drive on many roadways, but this won’t include most roadways in Whitley County, at least for the time being. Starting Friday (June 27), vehicles like this ATV won’t just be for off-roading any more. A new state law will allow many of these vehicles to be licensed for street use.
