Charles “Bunker” Powers, age 53 of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Baptist Health Corbin.
He was born November 10, 1969 in Corbin, KY, to Edward and Kathy Lawson Powers. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Josh Powers.
He is survived by his father and mother, Edward and Kathy Powers of Williamsburg, KY; one sister, Leighann King (Jason) of Gray, KY; one brother, Steven Powers (Nancy) of Williamsburg, KY; niece, Courtney Hill (Melvin) of Williamsburg, KY; nephew, Aaron Powers of Williamsburg, KY; great nieces, Aleigh Hayes, Maelie Hayes, Trinity Hill; great nephews, John Lee Hill, Tate Hayes, and Eason King; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 17, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Powers officiating.
Interment will be in Ed Powers Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, at the funeral home.
