Christams at the Falls and Christmas Bazaar

Date:

Christmas at the Falls

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park hosted a free Winter Wonderland event. Several vendors were set up in case visitors wanted to do some Christmas shopping, and the visitor’s center was decorated like the North Pole.

The event also featured live animals, a special sale on items in the gift shop, hot chocolate provided by Parkway Ministries, special activities courtesy of the Corbin Public Library, and of course, an appearance by Santa Claus himself.

Williamsburg Christmas Craft Bazaar

Hundreds turned out at the Williamsburg Tourism and Convention Center Saturday for the annual Williamsburg Christmas Bazaar, which drew nearly 70 vendors. Mayor Roddy Harrison, First-District Magistrate Scotty Harrison and Police Chief Jason Caddell served as judges for the annual chili cook-off. Johnny Philpot won both the People’s Choice Award and the Judge’s Award for best Homestyle Chili. Frank Vanover won the Judge’s Award for Best Traditional Chili and Kay Petrey won the People’s Choice Award for Best Traditional Chili.
