Claude Anderson, 80, of the Pleasant View Community of Whitley County, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his home.
He was born on October 15, 1938 to the late John W. Anderson and Bertha (Cooper) Anderson.
His paternal grandparents were the late Simpson Anderson and Nannie (Creekmore) Anderson. His maternal grandparents were the late Shermon Cooper and Rosetta (Cox) Cooper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Redburn) Anderson, and sister, Flossie White.
He is survived by eight children, John Anderson, and wife, Valerie, of Michigan, Anna Reifsnyder, and husband, Kirt, of Michigan, Tammy Podsiad, and husband, James, of Pleasant View, James Willie Anderson, of La Grange, Tracy Young, and husband, Mark, of Corbin, Robert Anderson, and wife, Tina, of Pleasant View, James Allen Anderson, of La Grange, and Jason Anderson, of Pleasant View; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and other relatives to mourn his passing.
Graveside services and burial were held Friday, December 7, at the Douglas Cemetery in the Oswego Community of Campbell County, TN.
Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of all arrangements.
