Clayton Cecil Jones

Clayton Cecil Jones, age 82, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on June 30, 2022 at his home. He was born to the late Cye Jones and Mary (Baker) Jones on January 31, 1940 in Jellico, Tennessee.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anna Belle (Kelly); son, Clyde Jones; sister, Judy Jones; brothers, Carl Ray Jones and Jerry Jones; and brother-in-law, Charlie Lawson.
Clayton is survived by two children, Jeffrey Lynn Jones (Tessie) and Jason Keith Jones (Jessica) all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Carrie Ray, Loretta Baatz, Tonya Jones, Daniel Jones, Bradley Jones, Tiffany Teague, Tyler Teague, and Destiny Teague; along with nine great-grandchildren; his brother, J.E. Jones (JoAnne); and sisters, Joyce Lawson (Jerry Paul) and Bessie Lawson all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Clayton loved to work his farm, garden, and cattle.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tyler Jones officiating.
Interment will follow at the Clearfork Baptist Church Cemetery.
