Clifford G. Hatfield, age 76, of Clairfield, Tennessee went Home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Tri-State Nursing Home of Harrogate, Tennessee.
He was born to the late Rev. Tilman and Rachel (Sharp) Hatfield on January 2, 1949, in Valley Creek, Tennessee. Clifford’s entire career he was a mason, he enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting and many other outdoor activities.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Marshall Hatfield, Sherman Hatfield, Ben Hatfield and JB Hatfield; sisters, Lilly Hatfield, Martha Hatfield, and Mary Seymour Hatfield; grandkids, Angel Hatfield and Larry Dean Aslinger.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara (Davis) Hatfield; children, Tonya Aslinger and husband Larry, Sandy Kerney and husband Greg, Clifford Hatfield, Jr.; grandchildren, Krystal Harness, Candice Turnbull, Justin Aslinger, Dustin Aslinger, Alysha Aslinger, Josh Aslinger, Chelsea Hatfield, Matthew Hatfield and Zoey Hatfield; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Hatfield, Garfield Hatfield and Ardylee Hatfield; sister-in-law, Sue King and husband Alan; hunting buddy, Sheldon Cowling; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 22, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hatfield and Bro. Alan King officiating.
Burial was Sunday, February 23, in the Rogerston Cemetery in Clairfield, TN.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
