CMS state champions made Corbin Colonel

Date:

Two days after they won the 2024 Eighth Grade Football Division II State Championship, the accolades continued to pour in for the Corbin Middle School team as it was named a Corbin Colonel during Monday’s monthly Corbin City Commission meeting.

The team beat Paducah 14-8 Saturday to win the title.

“Good job boys. This is Coach (Brent) Jackson’s ninth state championship, pretty amazing isn’t it,” said Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus.
