The Corbin Redhounds edged the Clay County Tigers, 158-159 to take the first Southeastern Kentucky Golf Conference Tournament title Saturday at Crooked Creek in London.

Corbin’s John Hamilton was the medalist for the nine-hole tournament with a 36. Teammate Chandler Maguet finished with a 38 enabling the Redhounds to hold off the Tigers.

Connor Maguet finished with a 41 while Ryan Williamson rounded out the scoring with a 43. Eric Jones had a 45.

Tyler McDaniel and Todd McDaniel led the Tigers with a 37 and 38. Justin Smith and Tanner Hensley finished with a pair of 42.

North Laurel, led by Zach Storm’s 41 took third.

The top ten individuals were: John Hamilton, Chandler Maguet and Connor Maguet of Corbin; Tyler and Todd McDaniel, Clay County; Luke Elmore of Pulaski County, Tyler Morgan, Jackson County; Cody Byrge, Whitley County; Tyler Royster, South Laurel and Storm of North Laurel.
