Corbin BOE adding more parking near high school

Date:

The Corbin Board of Education is looking to add a little more parking near Corbin High School.

On Feb. 18, the Corbin Board of Education purchased property on Early Avenue or Early Street from Lois M. Rose for $40,000.

The property is in the vicinity of the Corbin High School campus.

Corbin Superintendent Dave Cox said that the property will be used for additional parking. Cox added that it might possibly be used for parking of the band trailer, which takes up 10 – 12 spots in a regular parking lot.
