Corbin City Commission authorizes Santa to use Corbin airspace for Christmas

Date:

It’s official. Santa Claus is being given permission to use the airspace over the city of Corbin on Christmas Eve and Christmas to deliver presents to all the good girls and boys.

Corbin City Commissioner Trent Knuckles made the motion during Monday’s regular monthly meeting to authorize City Clerk Tori Brock to draw up a resolution authorizing Mayor Suzie Razmus to sign the resolution regarding Santa Claus use of Corbin airspace.

“I think it is very important for Santa Claus to be safe above the skies in our city. We don’t want to have any kind of accident occurring that would be a terrible mark. I definitely approve of this,” Razmus noted.

The commission unanimously approved the motion.
