Corbin Movies in the Park set for Saturday (May 21)

Date:

If you are looking for something free to do Saturday night and you are going to be in the downtown Corbin area, then you are in luck.

The Corbin Tourism and Convention Commission and State Farm Insurance are presenting “Movies in the Park,” which will take place at Sanders Park on Main Street.

The featured film will be the 2006 animated feature Cars. The movie features race car Lightning McQueen, who gets stranded in the small town of Radiator Springs.

The movie begins at dark and treats will be provided.

“We have a variety of sponsors, who will be doing pizza, popcorn and drinks for the kids,” noted Corbin Tourism Director Maggy Monhollen.

The event is free and open to the public, but you will need to bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

For more information call (606) 528-8860.
