Corbin police, firefighters to square off Saturday in inaugural ‘Battle of the Badges’ basketball game

Date:

Corbin Police and Corbin Firefighters will take to the court at Corbin High School on May 11 for the first annual, “Battle of the Badges” basketball game.

The 5v5 full-court game, which is open to the public, will begin at 5 p.m.

Admission is $2 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or at the City Collector’s Office at Corbin City Hall.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Corbin Police Department’s Shop With a Cop program that helps local children in need to shop for clothes, shoes, and a toy.

In 2018, approximately 100 children participated in the event held at Walmart in Corbin.
