Corbin Public Library open House

The Corbin Public Library hosted an open house event Sept. 1 with a variety of family-friendly activities, including a LEGO build.

During the build, attendees were asked to craft some type of castle or mythical creature as the library’s theme for the month of September is J.R.R. Tolkien, the renowned author of “The Hobbit” and “Lord of the Rings” books.

Other activities available included a craft pick up, a scavenger hunt and a movie showing.
