Corbin and Whitley County each have one more hoop to jump through to reach the 13th Region Volleyball Championship match.
They will each have that opportunity tonight at Jackson County. Whitley County will face Bell County in one semi-final match, while Corbin will take on North Laurel in the second semi-final.
Whitley County reached the semi-final by defeating Jackson County on Saturday.
The Lady Colonels won in three games (25-17, 25-16, 25-19).
Bell County defeated Pineville to set up the matchup.
Corbin advanced to the semi-final with a 3-0 win over Harlan County on Saturday.
The Lady Redhounds won in three games (25-10, 25-10, 25-3).
North Laurel defeated Knox Central to advance to the semi-final.
Whitley County and Bell County will take the court at 6 p.m.
Corbin and North Laurel’s match will begin at 8 p.m.
The winners will advance to the championship match, which is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Jackson County.
