Corbin woman dies in two-vehicle I-75 crash

A Corbin woman died from injuries she received in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning near the 30-mile marker on I-75.According to the Kentucky State Police, 30-year-old Deborah Childress died from injuries she suffered when her car collided with a 1996 Toyota truck driven by 20-year-old Nathan Logan of Corbin.
Police say Logan was driving north on I-75 when he lost control of his truck, entered the median and overturned before crossing into the southbound lane, striking Childress’ 1996 Ford.
Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling pronounced Childress dead at the scene.
Kentucky State Police Post 11, Public Affairs officer John Root said there were numerous witnesses to the accident and no charges have been filed in the accident.
