Court documents reveal details about Burke’s charges; lawyer denies allegations

Kentucky State Police arrested Leigh Burke Tuesday for theft and abuse of the public trust.

A former chief financial officer for the Whitley County school district, who was fired in June amid allegations of misappropriation of school funds, has pleaded not guilty to charges of theft and abuse of the public trust.
