COVID-19 public health notice issued regarding Corbin book store

If you visited the Books-A-Million store in Corbin on Oct. 24-26, then you may have been exposed to COVID-19, according to a public health notice published by the Whitley County Health Department Monday morning.

Books-A-Million is located at 1000 Cumberland Gap Parkway in Corbin inside the Trademart Shopping Center.

Anyone, who was in the store on Saturday, Oct. 24, between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25, between the hours of 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., or on Monday, Oct. 25, between the hours of 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. may have been exposed to COVID-19, according to the health department’s notice.

“Individuals who believe they may be at risk as a result of potential exposure to COVID-19 should self-quarantine and stay home. Those, who feel ill, should get tested for COVID-19 and consult their healthcare provider,” according to the notice.
