Cross drain operations start May 17 on a portion of KY 727 in Whitley Co.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that cross drain operations start Monday, May 17, on a portion of KY 727 from mile point 1.859 (junction of Worley Cemetery Road) to mile point 1.988 (junction of Monhollon Cemetery Road) in Whitley County.

The roadway will be closed Monday, May 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Transportation Cabinet officials ask motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
