CUC customers to see rate increase beginning Feb. 1

The bad news is that Corbin Utilities Commission (CUC) customers will be seeing a rate increase on their water and sewer bills starting Feb. 1, 2025, but the good news is that even with the water rate increase, customer bills will still be cheaper than other water districts in the area and a number of other water districts around the state.

Corbin Utilities Commission General Manager Ron Herd spoke during Monday’s Corbin City Commission meeting about upcoming rate changes.
