Cumberlands program ranked No.1 in state

Date:

Forbes.com recently included University of the Cumberlands in their ranking of the nation’s Best Online Master’s in Management degree programs, with Cumberlands ranking No. 1 in Kentucky, No. 4 nationally.

Forbes ranked schools based on their management programs’ tuition costs and graduation rates, among other factors. The ranking included 10 schools from around the country. Of the schools listed, Cumberlands offered the second-lowest tuition rate among public and private schools and was the most affordable option among private universities.

This isn’t the first time Forbes has recognized the value of Cumberlands’ graduate programs. Earlier this year, Forbes Advisor ranked Cumberlands’ executive PhD in business (finance specialty) as the top program in the nation. The PhD in business program (management specialty) has also been ranked by Forbes as one of the nation’s top programs.

Per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, industry growth in business managerial fields ranges from approximately 7-23 percent. Many with leadership skills and business experience choose to pursue careers as logisticians, purchasing agents, operations research analysts, chief executive officers (CEOs), or project management specialists, though business and leadership skills are valuable assets in any workplace.

Cumberlands offers multiple online master’s degrees in business management, including project management, strategic management, and supply chain management. These fully online, asynchronous degree programs help students acquire relevant knowledge and competencies in the business world, develop advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills, formulate effective management strategies, and work efficiently in teams, among other skills.
