Daniel Wayne Lindsay, Sr.

Daniel Wayne Lindsay, Sr., age 83, of Emlyn, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.
He was born on November 29, 1938 in Jacksboro, Tennessee to the late Cleo Lindsay and Naomi (Spicer) Lindsay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, David Lindsay.
He is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Suella (Peace) Lindsay of Emlyn; son, Daniel Wayne Lindsay, Jr. (Mona) of Emlyn; three daughters, Glenda Woods of Williamsburg, Mary Jane Kirgan (Scot) of Williamsburg, and Lora Ann Earls (Emby) of Corbin; grandchildren, Stephen Lindsay, April Thomas, Ryan Jarboe, Trey Jarboe, Danielle Wynn, Sarah Gatliff, McKenzie Mills, Carrie Bass, Josh Earls, and Mitchell Earls; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Lindsay (Relda) of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday, January 26, at the Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Bowman officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the Emlyn Cemetery.
