Dave Hudson Memorial Rotary Scholarship Scramble set for May 13

Date:

Sponsorships and participants are being sought for the Dave Hudson Memorial Rotary Scholarship Scramble, which will take place on May 13 at London Country Club with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

“Thank you for supporting the Dave Hudson Memorial Rotary Scholarship Scramble. With your help, we can help deserving high school seniors realize the dream of a college education,” according to a flier for the event.

The annual scramble is played to raise money for college scholarships. Students are awarded scholarships based on academic achievement and need.

“One past Rotary Scholarship winner says, ‘The scholarship just doesn’t help you that one year, it continues to help you for the rest of your life,’” the flier stated.

The cost to enter is $75 per player. It costs $300 to sponsor a team. There is a $100 basic sponsor level and a $300 event sponsor level.

Each team player on the first place team will receive a $100 gift certificate. Each team member on the second place team will receive a $50 gift certificate. Each team member on the third place team will receive a $25 gift certificate.

The deadline to register is May 10.
