David Paul Adkins, 56, of Youngs Chapel Road, Corbin departed this life on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the home of his mother in Williamsburg.

He was born on May 15, 1962 in Detroit, MI to the late Robert Paul Adkins and Nannie Marie (Smith) Adkins.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sherri Adkins.

David was a member of Mt. Ash Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Creech (Tyler) of East Bernstadt; Kaprina Nicole Adkins of Williamsburg, Agnes Michelle Kellogg of Lily and Crystal Marie Adkins of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Emmett, Mia and Bentley; his mother, Nannie (Smith) Adkins of Williamsburg; three brothers, Michael Timothy Adkins and wife Victoria of Williamsburg, Richard Martin Adkins and Teresa of Taylor, MI and Robert Morgan Adkins of Utica, NY; many nieces and nephews; other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, July 21, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Bro. Glen Hubbard officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery at Sunny Hill Church.
