It is with a heavy heart and much sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved father, brother, and friend, Dennis Curnutt.
Born on March 25, 1951, in Harlan, KY, Dennis lived a life full of love, dedication, and passion. He was a man of great character and strength, always leading by example, and never shying away from lending a helping hand. His love for the outdoors was evident in his fondness for fishing and his unwavering dedication to the US Air Force, a proud service he never failed to mention.
Dennis radiated warmth and kindness wherever he went, deeply touching lives and leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of many. His love for his family was immeasurable. He often said that his greatest treasures were his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and the host of family and friends that he leaves behind to mourn his passing.
Among those are his cherished children, Rachel Hubbard, Jessica (Joe) Teague, Jeromy (Melanie) Curnutt. He also leaves behind his sisters, Janice (Larry) Dexter, Linda (Pat) Wilkins, Ellen (Kenny) Prewitt, Judy (Javier) Garza, and Sandy (Jerry) Smith; and his brother, Eddie (Judy) Curnutt.
His life was shaped by the love of his parents, William and Stella Curnutt; and his brothers, Bill, Claude, Jerry, and Jimmy Curnutt, who preceded him in death.
Funeral service was Friday, May 2, at Croley Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Joe King and Reverend Ron Teague officiating.
Interment followed at the Curnutt Cemetery in Rockhold, Kentucky.
Dennis’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. We encourage all who knew Dennis to leave memories and upload photos to his memorial page, ensuring his spirit lives on through shared recollections and cherished moments. He may no longer be with us in person, but his influence and love will forever resonate in our lives.
