Details about trooper-involved shooting emerge during court hearing

A preliminary hearing was held Tuesday for Billy Barnhill, who was shot by police last month after allegedly driving towards a state trooper on an ATV.

A Kentucky State Police investigator officially identified the trooper that shot a man in Rockholds on July 18 as Trooper Jeremy Elliotte during a court hearing Tuedsay.
