Dianne Lorraine Lynch, affectionately known as “Mom Mom,” passed away on April 27, 2024, in Oak Ridge, TN.
Born to Edward and Ann Eva Kurtz on August 5, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents; her brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Janice Kurtz; her son, Robert Malone; her mothers-in-law, Vivian Lynch and Rose Malone; son-in-law, Joe Webb; and soul sister, Sharon Creekmore.
Dianne’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband, Jerry “Red” Lynch; her children, Jacalyn Sullivan (Danny), Jacinda Byrge (Josh), Doug Malone, Wendel Malone, and Jeremy Lynch; her grandchildren, Brandon Bowlin (Charity), Ashley Berta (Bryan), Tiffany Bridges, Heather Lovitt (Nathan), Ryan Webb (Kaitlyn), Zachery Slagle, Chandler Slagle, Brooklyn Lawson, Juliette Ashe, Kaylynn Byrge; great-grandchildren, Mason Griffin, Sailor Rose, Jalisa, Jaycee, Trinity, Caden, Kinley, Harper, Everly, Rhett and Nate; sisters-in-law, Janie Gilburth (Robert), Sue Thurman (Harry), and Carol Malone; her caregivers, Angel Brummett, Carolyn Bowlin, Ashley Bowlin, and Mary Shelton; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service was Tuesday, April 30, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel with scripture reading and prayer by Ashley and Bryan Berta.
Interment was Wednesday, May 1, in the Douglas Cemetery at Wooldridge, TN, with the Jellico Rescue Squad serving as pallbearers.
