The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on April 27:

Hugh E. Roark, born in 1964, possession of drug paraphernalia – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, $25 fine plus court costs.

Amanda D. Walker, born in 1984, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 14 days already served, court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.

Amanda D. Walker, born in 1984, giving officer false name or address – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 14 days already served, plus court costs.

Amanda D. Walker, born in 1984, third-degree criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 14 days already served, court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on April 28:

Christopher Earls, born in 1982, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit two days already served, $100 fine plus court costs.

Jennifer Elaine Sullivan, born in 1973, alcohol intoxication, third-degree criminal trespassing – $100 fine plus court costs.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 4, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Cathy E. Prewitt.

James Lay, 1954, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $183. Bond withheld.

Steven Leforce, 1967, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $1,133. Bond withheld.

Jessica McCullah, 1994, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $118. Bond withheld.

Jessica McCullah, 1994, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $393. Bond withheld.

Jessica Shaffer, 1985, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $308. Bond withheld.

Nicholas Staten, 1992, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $25. Bond withheld.

Missie Tucker, 1972, failure to make deferred/installment payment of $313. Bond withheld.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 5, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Cathy E. Prewitt.

Trevor Johnson, 1992, no/expired registration plates, no insurance, driving on suspended/revoked license. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $625, $450 probated, ordered not to drive until legal, $133 court costs.
