The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on May 10:

Thomas Heatwole, born in 1994, bench warrant issued – pay $293 fine or go to jail.

Vickie Ann Holt, born in 1979, bench warrant issued – pay $133 fine or go to jail.

Robert Huff, born in 1974, bench warrant issued – pay $263 fine or go to jail.

Lisa Faye Lovitt, born in 1961, bench warrant issued – pay $233 fine or go to jail.

Jeffrey S. Neal, born in 1960, bench warrant issued – pay $748 fine or go to jail.

Ricky V. Vanover, born in 1986, bench warrant issued – pay $708 fine or go to jail.

Misty L. Vaughn, born in 1992, bench warrant issued – pay $563 fine or go to jail.

Sondra Tess Wilson, born in 1984, bench warrant issued – pay $363 fine or go to jail.

The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on May 12:

Dana Cupp, born in 1983, possession of a controlled substance – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $200 fine plus court costs.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 16:

Victor R. Baldwin II, born in 1986, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Johnny D. Roundtree, born in 1992, fourth-degree assault domestic violence – 12-months in jail probated for two years on the condition he completes anger management and attend two Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly, plus court costs.

Ricky L. Anderson, born in 1994, leaving scene of an accident – charge dismissed without prejudice after restitution was paid in full.

Eva Moore Carr, born in 1983, third-degree possession of a controlled substance – six-month jail sentence probated for two years on the condition she attends two Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly, plus court costs.

Devin Carroll, born in 1994, receiving stolen property under $500 – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years on condition rehab is completed at Isaiah House.

Taylor Gabbard, born in 1993, fourth-degree assault – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, no contact with complaining witness Misty Phillips.

Arthur D. Hill, born in 1967, theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs, restitution has been paid in full.

James Leach, born in 1973, failure to wear seatbelts – $25 fine.

Kevin Llewellyn, born in 1990, theft by unlawful taking/disposition – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 47 days already served, plus court costs.

Colan Oaks, born in 1992, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening, giving officer false name or address – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.

Ronnie Smith, born in 1980, contempt of court – probated time revoked, six-month jail sentence for not paying restitution as ordered.

Randy A. Toney, born in 1993, improper equipment – $25 fine plus court costs.

Anthony Vanderpool, born in 1983, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.

Matthew A. Watson, born in 1990 – shock probation granted, has already served 70 days out of 90-day sentence, credit time served towards costs, must complete Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous classes once released.

Lisa Marie Allen, born in 1981, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Steven J. Auer, born in 1983, two counts of failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Cody A. Collett, born in 1998, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Cathy B. Dennis, born in 1962, speeding 10 mph over limit – paid in full.

Samuel Draper, born in 1994, speeding 18 mph over limit – paid in full.

William E. Step, born in 1965, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Logan Goodlett, born in 1998 – paid in full.

Harold W. Hill, born in 1948, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Joshua Hubbard, born in 1984, alcohol intoxication – $50 fine plus court costs.

Katie Johnson, born in 1992, passing loading/unloading school/church bus – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, 40 hours of community service, plus court costs.

Lori A. Lowe, born in 1979, improper equipment, no/expired registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, failure to wear seatbelts – $170 fine plus court costs.

Pajaron Nelson, born in 1964, vehicle operated on highway after being placed out of service – $100 fine plus court costs.

Eric Jerome Scarborough, born in 1980, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $25 fine plus court costs.

Shawn Anthony Senters, born in 1979, failure to wear seatbelts – $25 fine.

Jennifer Ann Smith, born in 1984, theft by unlawful taking or disposition-shoplifting under $500 – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, $100 fine plus court costs.

Sarah Stinnett, born in 1988, two counts of failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Lora S. Youngblood, born in 1991, possession of marijuana – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 17:

Farmview Apartments LLC vs. Holly Gross – order to vacate entered, seven days to vacate or appeal.

M&M Properties vs. Chenne Huddleston – order to vacate entered, seven days to vacate or appeal.

Cash Express LLC vs. Quentin Lawson – motion for default judgment granted.

Cash Express LLC vs. Amanda Morgan – motion for default judgment granted.
