Don Hamblin Sr

Don Hamblin Sr., age 66, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at his home. He was born October 2, 1959 in Whitley County, KY, to the late Claude Bryant and Nannie Ellen Dale Hamblin.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel “Boone” Hamblin, and David Hamblin.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Reed; two children, Donnie Hamblin Jr. (Michelle), Ashley Hamblin Atwood (Tim); nine grandchildren, Clay Barnes, Landry Barnes, Adalynn Cooper, Mackenzie Driver, Dallas Tyler, Madison Hamblin, Draven Hamblin, Raelynn Atwood, River Atwood; three great-grandkids, Gunner Folz, Weston Purcell, Lenora Driver; brother, Dennis Hamblin; several nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox officiating.
Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dallas, Paul, Tim A., David, Tim L., Zach, Brandon, and River.
