Don Kennedy, 65 of White Oak, TN passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home.
He was born July 5, 1952 in Campbell County, TN.
He was preceded in death by parents: Dewey and Omey Phillips Kennedy; brothers: Charlie, Mark, J.D., Eugene, Ira Lee, Cardus, and Lonnie Kennedy; sisters, Mae Sutton, Adgilee Franklin, Cardella Kennedy, Imagene Kennedy, June Kennedy.
He is survived by wife, Linda Smith Kennedy; son, Britch Kennedy and wife Clara; daughter, Donna Mahar and husband Anthony; grandchildren: Brittany Malicoat and husband Kaleb, Brandon Kennedy, Lillian Mahar; great grandchild, Levi Malicoat; brothers, Bob Kennedy & wife Helena, Tommy Kennedy; sister, Faye Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held January 4 at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Walls officiating.
Burial was held Friday, January 5 in the Lambdin Cemetery (Sled Creek).
Military honors were presented by the American Legion Post 154.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
