Dora E. Holloway

Dora E. Holloway, age 86, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 30, 1938 in Whitley County, KY, to the late Caleb and Joie Lambdin Rose. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Paul Holloway; son, Jerry Holloway; four brothers, Clyde Rose, James Rose, Earl Rose, Billy R. Rose; one sister, Juanita Anderson; and nephews, Cale Rose, and Bobby Rose.
She is survived by one grandson, Ryan Holloway of Williamsburg, KY; daughter-in-law, Lisa Holloway of Williamsburg, KY; two sisters, Joann Brown (Johnny) of Williamsburg, KY, Betty Moses of Williamsburg, KY; one brother, Carl Rose (Della) of Williamsburg, KY; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Rose of Williamsburg, KY, Mildred Rose of Williamsburg, KY; special cousin, Charlotte Bush (Rev. Bennie) of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Monday, August 25, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Bush and Rev. Jeff Ellis officiating.
Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
