Dwight Yoakam concert rescheduled for Jan. 18

Date:

Dwight Yoakam’s concert at The Arena in Corbin has been rescheduled for Jan. 18.

Country music star Dwight Yoakam will now play The Arena in Corbin on January 18.

Arena officials announced Thursday afternoon that Yoakam was suffering from a severe respiratory infection and was advised not further risk damage to his voice.

“He was en route to the show, until the infection affecting his voice worsened to the point of his doctor warning that he should not perform this evening,” Arena officials stated in a Facebook post announcing the postponement.

Arena Manager Kristi Balla said all tickets sold for the Thursday night show will be honored at the January show.

Balla said tickets are available for the new date and may be purchased at The Arena box office or online at ticketmaster.com.
