Edna L. Mullis

Edna L. Mullis, age 89, of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Thursday October 27, 2022 at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 11, 1933 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late George and Beulah Forbes Childress. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Mullis; two brothers, Joe Childress, and Johnny Childress; and two sisters, Beatrice Brown, and Ruth Thomas.
She is survived by two sons, Scotty Mullis (Brandi) of Williamsburg, Ky., Gary Mullis (Sharon) of Stearns, Ky.; three grandchildren, Jenny Mae Mullis, Kelsey Burke, and Dillian Burke; two sisters, Christine Hall of Ohio, and Mattie Erion of Bradenton, Florida, one brother, Dan Childress of Covington, Ky.; special family members, Rena and Jerry Sester of Williamsburg, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Sester officiating.
Interment will be in Cumberland Freewill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 am Tuesday, November 1, until funeral hour at the funeral home.
