Elbert L. Vanderpool, Jr., age 73, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, January 20, 2023 surrounded by his wife and family.
Elbert was born on January 6, 1950 in Jellico, Tennessee to Elbert L. Vanderpool, Sr. and Evelyn (Elswick) Vanderpool. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Sr. and Evelyn (Elswick) Vanderpool and three sisters, Diane, Darlene, and Faye.
Elbert was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW in Williamsburg and member of the American Legion Post 88 in Corbin.
He is survived by his wife, Judy A. (Osborne) Vanderpool of Williamsburg, Kentucky; daughter, Jennifer Ann Farley (Brent) of Versailles, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Amanda Canada of Frankfort, Kentucky, Ashlee Bunch of Corbin, Kentucky, and Elisabeth Osborne of London, Kentucky; four great-grandsons, Gabreil, Kinley, Avery, and Alyxzander; three brothers, James Vanderpool of Indiana, Luther Vanderpool of Indiana, and Allen Vanderpool of Williamsburg, Kentucky; four sister, Novella McGuire of Florida, Rosella Hines of Indiana, Emma Sue Bennett of Indiana, and Teresa Williams of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
All services will be private.
