Ms. Melvena Stephenson of Corbin and Mr. Bill Wells of Manchester are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth D. Wells to Derek V. Akers of Corbin. Derek is the son of Phillip and Marianne Akers of Memphis, Tennessee. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of the late Jack and Glenn Edna Stephenson of Corbin. Derek is the grandson of Virginia Phillips of Corbin.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church. The church is located at 720 Browning Acres Road, Corbin.
All friends and family are invited to attend as they are joined in the sight of God.
After a honeymoon in Charleston, South Carolina, the couple plans to reside in Corbin.
