Emby Archie McKeehan, 94, of Bee Creek Road, Corbin departed this life on Thursday, August 7, 2018 at his home.

He was born on December 21, 1923 in Whitley County, to the late Seberry McKeehan and Nellie (Ellison) McKeehan.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carmon Bennett and grandson, Jonathan McKeehan.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Madge McKeehan of Corbin; three daughters, Carolyn Sutton and husband Donnie, Charlotte Barnett and husband Keith and Jennifer King and husband Clark, all of Corbin; three sons, Jonathan McKeehan and wife Jeneva, Robert McKeehan and wife Jean and Nathan McKeehan and wife Sheila, all of Corbin; 15 grandchildren, Eric Sutton, Brian Sutton, Christi Douglas, Amber Romines, Keith Daniel Barnett, Angela Troglen, James McKeehan, Michael Howard, Aaron Howard, Adam Howard, Austin McKeehan, Ashley Stanley, Dean Wilder, Artis Ketron and Shawn Bennett; 25 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; two brothers, Thomas McKeehan of Corbin and Jerry McKeehan of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Claudia Spencer of Florida; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Friday, August 10, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Johnson Cemetery on Johnson Cemetery Road in Corbin.

Military graveside honors were conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
