Daisy May Tipton, 92, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday August 9, 2018 at the Heritage.
She was born in Black Mountain, a daughter of the late Temus Warfield and Florence Goodin Warfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tipton; son, Harry Paul Tipton; brothers, Robert, Herbert, and Austin Warfield; and sisters, Jewell Warfield and Juiwanna Root.
Daisy is survived by her son, Danny Tipton and wife Carolyn; daughter, Sharon Steele and husband McKinley; brother, Edward Warfield; sister, Barbara Lou Dorton and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Melissa Lawhorn, Danielle Greco, Timothy Tipton, Mike Steele, Kendra Hoffman, and Paul Brandon Steele; 15 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The funeral service was held Sunday, August 12, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
