Emma Faye Lovett Wilder, 86 of Williamsburg, was born on November 14, 1930 to Fleming Marshall Lovitt and Emma Rosetta White Lovitt, and passed away peacefully on August 7, 2017 at her home.

Faye was happy to be known as “Granny” to everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Carl Christopher Wilder Jr.

She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 66 years; Carl Christopher Wilder Sr., one son; Joseph Wilder and Gayle, two daughters; Karen Wilder Noe and Vivian Wilder Hill all of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, Crystal Wilder Dotson (Barry), Bill Wilder (Jessica), Jennifer Noe Chandler (David), Julie Noe, Rebecca Hill Lawson (Pride), and Lori Hill; eight great grandchildren; Dalton and Emma Dotson, Gracie and Chase Wilder, Andrew and Alex Chandler, and Connor and Cameron Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday August 9, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Mitchell officiating.

Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
