More donations are still needed for the 2025 Southeast Kentucky Empty Stocking Fund (SEKESF) Christmas program. So far, $17,553 has been donated.

This year will mark 38 consecutive years of service to nearly 20,000 children. The first year the fundraiser provided a Christmas present for approximately 80 children. The program increased substantially until 2007 when it peaked with more than 800 children from 300 families signed up.
The wrapping party is Friday, Dec. 19, at Immanuel Baptist Church off Gordon Hill starting at 6 p.m.
The Christmas party will be the next day on Saturday, Dec. 20, at Immanuel Baptist Church starting at 11 a.m. There will be free pizza, and Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance.
The budget for 2025 will be $41,500, which includes $5,000 for bicycles.
