Escapee’s freedom short-lived at bottom of brush pile Saturday afternoon

A Whitley County Detention Center inmate had two hours and 14 minutes of freedom Saturday afternoon if you count hiding at the bottom of a thick brush pile in near freezing or below freezing temperatures as freedom.
