Fake Laurel Lake Camping Resort Facebook page promises $1,000 vacation

Laurel Lake Camping Resort is warning the public about a scam taking place on Facebook where the crooks are impersonating their business.

The camping resort noted on its real Facebook page that a fake page had been created to impersonate the business.

“They are sending a message out to everyone that accepts their friend request stating that they have won the $1000 vacation package giveaway. Please do not click on any links they send you as it may be harmful. Absolutely do not give your credit card information to anyone who has told you that you won a giveaway. We are taking the appropriate measures to ensure this page is reported and removed. If you see anything suspicious, do not click on it and if you are unsure, please ask us,” the Laurel Lake Camping Resort wrote in a Facebook post.

The fake Facebook page is LaurelLake CampIng-Resort.
